Trip Photo Album

Hi From Nancy

Dear Family and friends, Nancy here (finally)We're here in Jordan and having an amazing time. We've had problems with bad internet connections and laptops acting up, but I've got just a few minutes to get this on our site.
I've found the people here to be just wonderful. We spent a half day at Questscope and met some pretty amazing women and children. It is truly inspiring to hear what Questscope is doing. I love being part of this team. I've taken a lot of pictures (hope they turn out) eaten lamb!! which I found to be delicious!!! The weather has been warm up to today but today is just a little chilly. I've gotten spoiled with summer weather. Tomorrow we're off to Petra and I expect to find another great experience awaiting me! Leaving Sat. I miss all of you and am so anxious to share this journey with you. Certainly God has been with us through all the misshaps that happened on this trip. We've prevailed anyway!!!!!! Love to all

We Made It!!

(Keith from Damascus) We made it here late Sunday--so late it was 2:30am Monday. We had a fantastic day with Roy Moussalli and our guide George Edelvi. They brought us to several sites in the Old City, including the "Street called 'Straight'" on which Saul of Tarsus had his encounter with Jesus, knocking him to the ground and blinding him. Soon after he would become Paul the Apostle. We saw the sight believed to be the home of Annanias, the one who God used to heal Paul's blindness. More photos to come.

A View From My Room

(Keith - from St Louis Park, MN):  After over 2 hours waiting on the airplane, the first leg of our connecting flights to Jordan was cancelled due to severe weather in Chicago, with no options for same-day connections.  They sent us back home. We've been rebooked to leave at 3:30 today, with a longer layover in london (12 hours).  So we'll have one less day in Syria.  We're disappointed that we're going to miss Orthodox Easter services in Syria, but are still looking forward to an exciting and fruitful trip.
